Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 2026
Hananya Naftali is committed to making hnaftali.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and the Israeli Standard IS 5568, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES ON THIS SITE
• The site can be used with a keyboard alone. Focus is clearly visible, and a "Skip to Main Content" link lets you jump past the menu.
• The site language is declared so screen readers read the content correctly.
• Images include text descriptions (alt text).
• Pages have descriptive titles and an organized heading structure.
• Text and menu colors have been checked against the WCAG contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
• Form fields have clear labels.
• The layout adapts to phones and tablets, and pages can be zoomed in the browser.
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
We are still working on the following:
• Some older blog posts contain quoted text in a color that does not yet meet contrast requirements.
• Some embedded videos rely on YouTube captions and do not yet have full transcripts.
• Some forms and the site search use older components that we plan to upgrade.
• Advertisements on this site are supplied automatically by Google AdSense. Some ads may not meet accessibility requirements, and on some screens they can cover part of the page. We are reviewing how ads are displayed.
• Content provided by third parties, such as embedded YouTube videos, maps, and external sites linked from this site (including our store and donation pages), is not fully under our control.
