Israel’s Relationship with NATO
Israel is not a NATO member, but it is a close partner through the NATO Mediterranean Dialogue, which promotes security cooperation. While Israel benefits from strong military and intelligence ties with NATO countries, it does not have NATO’s collective defense guarantee (Article 5).
