Israel Trains for the Next War: No More October 7ths

October 7, 2023, was not a “surprise.” It was a massacre. It wasn’t “unexpected.” It was a catastrophic failure of intelligence, and readiness. And it should never happen again. That’s exactly why, in the hills and valleys of Judea and Samaria, the IDF just ran its largest and most intense military drill yet: “Lion’s Roar.”

From Blood to Strategy
The IDF’s “Lion’s Roar” exercise lasted three days, but it was born in the blood of October 7th. More than 1,200 Israelis were butchered that day. Babies burned. Women raped. Whole families gunned down like animals. That horror is seared into every Israeli soldier’s brain now.
The army finally admitted what many of us have been screaming for years: the enemy doesn’t sleep, doesn’t play fair, and doesn’t want peace.
The exercise took place in the very heart of Israel’s most volatile areas, Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley. These are not “occupied territories.” This is our land, our inheritance, our home. And it’s also the front line.
Over 180 Israeli Air Force aircraft were in the sky. On the ground, the IDF simulated over 40 different terror scenarios, simultaneous infiltrations into Jewish communities, attacks during troop mobilization, mass casualty events, urban combat, rescues, and even medical evacuations under fire.
We’re preparing not just for another October 7th, but for ten of them. All at once. Because that's what we're up against: Hamas in the south, Hezbollah in the north, and terror cells scattered like landmines across Judea and Samaria.
You think it’s an exaggeration? Think again.
In 2024 alone, Palestinian terrorists carried out 6,343 attacks on Jews in Judea and Samaria. That’s more than 17 attacks every single day. Twenty-seven Israelis were murdered and over 300 wounded, just in that region.

The Enemy Isn’t Hiding Anymore
What made October 7 so devastating wasn’t just the brutality. It was how fast it happened. In minutes, dozens of Israeli towns were overrun. Soldiers were caught sleeping. Civilians were left unarmed. Kibbutzim became war zones, and the world watched in silence, or worse, blamed us.
The IDF has finally admitted the obvious: there is no time. There is no warning. The first 15 minutes are life or death.
That’s why the drill focused on “initial strikes” and rapid special forces deployment. Terrorists won’t wait. And we shouldn’t either.
We’re done with “restraint.” We’re done with endless “warnings.” The new doctrine is speed, strength, and total force.
And it should be.
Look at how God told the Israelites to act in the Bible. Deuteronomy 20:1 doesn’t say, “Negotiate with your enemies.” It says:
"When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you."
God didn’t say “if” you go to war. He said “when.” Because He knew war would come. He knew the enemies of Israel would never stop.
Neither should we.

Israel Will Not Be a Victim Again
The world wants a weak Israel. They liked us better when we were helpless refugees begging for a homeland. They liked us more when we apologized for defending ourselves.
Too bad.
The Jews are home. We’re armed. And after October 7, we are finished playing defense.
To our friends around the world: this isn’t just about Israel. It’s about good versus evil. Civilization versus barbarism. Light versus darkness. The same spirit that tried to wipe out the Jews on October 7 is coming for you too. You know it. You feel it. You see it in your schools, your politics, your cities. This is not just Israel’s fight.

So, what’s the message?
The message is: we are preparing. And not just with weapons, but with willpower. With unity. With rage. With purpose. The lions are not sleeping anymore.
And the terrorists? They should be terrified.
Yes, we’re training for war. But the goal is peace. Not fake peace signed in blood on paper, but real peace earned through strength. The kind of peace that comes when your enemies are too afraid to attack.
There’s hope in preparation. Hope in readiness. Hope in courage. No more illusions. No more wishful thinking. Just truth, faith, and fire.
Israel doesn’t want war.
But we will win one if we have to.
